Beverly Hills implements lower speed limits on select streets
By Local Beverly Hills news desk
The City of Beverly Hills begins implementing a new ordinance with lower speed limits on select streets throughout the City, effective October 1, 2026.
The change allows the City to consider criteria such as crash history and adjacent land use when setting speed limits.
“Reducing our speed limits in key corridors throughout Beverly Hills will help ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists,” said Beverly Hills Mayor Craig Corman.
